In reply to the discussion: How will cutting Saturday letter delivery play out in your life? [View all]Travis_0004
(5,417 posts)10. It won't make a bit of difference to me
I use online bill pay, so I don't get, or mail any bills in the mail.
Even when I did, I never got a bill on Sat that couldn't wait a week to get around to mailing it.
I really doubt 1 day makes a difference.
Before it would arrive on sat, you couldn't mail on Sunday, so it went out Monday morning.
Now it arrives Monday morning, and it goes out Tuesday. The difference is one day.

OP
There will be two days, instead of one, where I walk to the mailbox and smack my head like an idiot.

Not by much. Considering we don't get our mail until 7:00pm. Saturday mail.
