Iran would LOVE to use him as a propaganda prop.

Stupid of him to go there IMO.

Also think it is stupid for any American to "hike" in Iraq/Iran area, travel at night while lone female in Turkey or any place in that region.

Better he is "detained" than droned or held hostage for publicity and possibly ransom.

Being "American" no longer entitles one to travel to dangerous areas and expect no consequences.

Agents and news people have savvy and connections and know what may come. Not a single young person, no matter how "famous."
