I live about 2 hrs from Des Moines, Ia, and would LOVE to be able to drive down there and be able to go to chicago, or NYC, or LA. Sure it'd take some time to get there but it'd be WAY better than driving/flying. Plus, train rides are an awesome way to get down time.

Same here. I dislike flying, but rail would be lovely. You really get to see the country
