Marijuana Politics Hit the Nation's Capitol

17. It is unconscionable policy.

It is a racket, and it is nothing short of evil.

You don't have to like marijuana to see how corrupt this policy is. Speaking as someone who has never smoked a joint in my life, I am sickened and outraged by the fact that millions of Americans are imprisoned and serving draconian sentences for smoking a little pot, while bankers who destroyed millions of lives go scott free. Look at the numbers. Just look at them.

It's all about filthy money, as is most policy these days. It's about lobbyists and barrels of cash and protecting the alcohol industry and growing big pharma and the prison industrial complex. It is an obscene waste of tax dollars that are desperately needed elsewhere, destroys countless lives and families, and is morally outrageous as policy.
