Anybody wanting to get ahead in politics now a days has to come across publicly as religious. Anybody can go to church, learn to quote religious text but that does not necessarily mean that they are believers. Some politicians may do what they need to do to get elected, particularly if they live in red states like Oklahoma.

This comment is in no way a comment on what President Obama's beliefs are or are not. It is just a general comment on what it takes to play the political game.
