This was the third time I had met him, and the White House had asked me to send them a brief bio before this last meet-up. So he knew full well who I was before he got there. When my daughter was in school in the States, she interned at Emily's List in DC, and she saw him quite a lot, although she had no clue he'd be president 3 years later.
