(75,480 posts)21. I grind my own. I just hope that the chunk of beef I buy is really
beef and not something else. Of course I live in California however, I have noticed that the beef in the meat case is sometimes labeled as being from Canada or other places that are even further away.

Also 12 years in Catholic schools. Never heard that Catholics can't eat horse meat

In 1982 horse meat was found in the US Navy's food supply in New England.....
