I heard integral too. Try saying "integral inaugural spot" fast three times. It a tricky turn of phrase. It could have been written in a better way, and I bet it was.. She said key before she said integral. I bet the copy was changed and she got confused.

There's enough overt and covert racism out there, without jumping on something that may just sound like something else.
