In today vocabulary "defriending" someone has no meaning. You removed them from your facebook?

Who cares.

I have a FB account, and can honestly say that of my "friends", there are few who are.

My "friends" are people who I would go to bat for and would do the same for me, they are people who I can call in an emergency and not get any other response than, "I'm on my way". They go above and beyond some bullshit political divide that the politicians on this country have created to divide the voting block. I can count them on my hands.

We disagree on many things, we have certainly been in a fights with each other, been in fights together, it takes 10 years to get on that list ... commonly known as the "10 year rule".

There is very little that will separate them and I, disagreement on some political issue certainly will not do it.

If you spend your life setting up some set of rules that one has to obey, or some set of thoughts you must adhere to, to be friends ... you will end up with none. Eventually, everyone disagrees about something.

I have a hard time with that. I view your politics as who you are. Flashmann Jan 2013 #1
