moral certitude, and ideological symbolism of some sort.

I also have to add that the definition of right wing opinion isn't exactly uniform either.
I see right wing as economic and level of authoritarianism. Maybe more simply as constriction of power to the few versus the many.

Some of those most hollering about right wing talking points and such are generally spouting plenty themselves and others who are deeply authoritarian to the point where it is clear they don't actually believe in civil liberties, essentially Stalinist in outlook. Others that think Democrat=liberal, Republican=conservative, and bipartisan=moderate with little thought from there.
Then there are the special people who essentially state "disagreement with me is____" depending on where they see themselves.
