If there is plant life on any planet then there must be animal life as well. Think of it this way, if one breaths carbone dioxide and exhales oxygen then there must be a counterpart that breaths oxygen and exhales carbon dioxide. Well, it doesn't have to be carbone dioxide and oxygen, but if there is a yin there must be a yang.
