(323 posts)31. River Park Square, Spokane
I want to go, but my husband would not be able to walk from the public parking garage to the demonstration, and I won't leave him behind. I'm so pissed that this protest is at River Park Square. There is no place to park on the streets surrounding the park, the parking garage only has 1,300 spaces and the only way you can see this protest is by being there. Hopefully the local media will cover it. The last protest (Hands-Off) against the fascist pig started in a neighborhood park and spilled out onto a very busy street. It was so visible to everyone!

Most articles I've seen recommend going with someone else. Can you find a ride with a local organization?

I am concerned about your safety. We saw what ICE did to Sen Padilla, a big strong man.

Forgive, me but I am a hockey fan, so I'm curious about where this happened to you.

I'm going by myself, and I'm not nervous. The person I went to the Hands Off march in April can't make it

You haven't seen the local FB groups. Sounds like MAGA are itching for a fight. Nt

Go with a buddy or two, or make friends there and ask for protection. Be on the edges, be like water
