3. I hope the killer gets 25 years without possibility of parole.

Two reasons. First, so he can’t kill any other innocents. Second, he robbed the landscaper of at least 25 years of his life. He doesn’t deserve to live them as a free man, either, and I hope the sentencing judge tells him so.
