It was a beautiful funeral service for our Mother. [View all]

About 100 people were either at the wake yesterday and funeral service today. Caught up with family members I hasn’t seen for several years and even of friends that I haven’t seen in a decade or two. Luckily the rain held off and from about 7 am until about 1:30 this afternoon.

I said my final goodbye to the most important part of my life, my mother. She was the rock of the family and now my rock is gone, but not in spirit. I will live the rest of life with her forever in my heart and memories of her. I looked out for her the past 23 years after my father past. There are many memories that we made together. I took her to see her sister in Michigan several times, went thru the Basilica at Norte Dame, went and saw a concert (Celtic Women), plus many more small moments that I will cherish forever.

Never will forget her memory and the way we connected. I was her youngest son & we had bond that never broke. She was the rock and I only was small part of the rock she had as a mother who heart was as strong and big than I could have never imagined.

Thank you again for all the support.
