ACA Premium Subsidies [View all]

If I understand correctly from what I've read, ACA premium subsidies will end at the end of this year. Currently, I am paying $550/month with a $750 subsidy for a $1300 policy. I'm 61 and have a few years to wait before Medicare kicks in.

I plan to get more work, so my subsidy would be less then, but still this is something that's been very helpful. I know that many people have been impacted more substantially by Trump's cuts, but this one especially seems like something that will impact Trump supporters as much as everyone else and hopefully will at least help with the midterm elections.

For those of you that are in the same predicament, are you planing on taking care of medical procedures before the end of the year and possibly switching to less expensive catastrophic coverage next year? Do you think there's a chance that there might be enough votes in Congress to salvage this because of the political harm that it could do to them?
