We're living under a silent shelling. [View all]

I know some will find it obscene to see a metaphor between true war time shellings, and what we're experiencing today in America. And to them, I extend an apology. But, I just wanted to share that every time I read something new that we have to deal with from this Administration, like each time he dismantles a proven department or program, or he steps closer to a world that we won't be able to reel back in, I find myself flinching, like I do when I hear the distant sound of a lightening strike. But this is no God driven attack. It's an attack from a president which I am convinced has gone mad.

Each day he shells this country with something that has us in a state of heighten insecurity. Maybe I'm right and he's mad. Or maybe these are the actions of a man so desperate to avoid jail that he knows he has to take full control of power in order to continue living his best life?

And if so, who is worse? The mad man? Or the people who enabled him?
