In reply to the discussion: It is impossible that the Republicans can't see what is happening. [View all]milestogo
(20,331 posts)54. Ron Johnson is my Senator
and I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. Like he absolutely couldn't care less what any Democratic constituent has to say. So I send the form letters when I get certain emails, but I'm also afraid he'll put me on a list as a traitor. That may seem ridiculous, but I have zero trust in him. My other Senator is Tammy Baldwin, and she pretty much always does what we want her to.
So one senator is a waste of time and the other is going to do the right thing anyway.
I don't know what is wrong with Republicans. They don't seem like real people.

If Trump purported to cancel elections, you think governors like Pritzker, Newsom, Whitmer....would just say OK?

Would you give up your $174,000 / year job to go home and return to farming? Pounding nails, shingle roofs.......

I bet they would be willing to raise minimum $30.00/ hour as some forwarded leaning legislators have pushed for.
