STOP EUTHANIZING HEALTHY BIRDS....Just like the post on here last night that mentioned that cats were carriers as well as the also-known cattle. I guess we'll start euthanizing cattle next and then our cats if a "case" shows up a few miles away.

Having worked in meat packing, I understand the stupid, knee jerk attitude of many QC as well as USDA inspectors when a couple of birds act sick, then 100,000 are killed. This is a recipe for skyrocketing chicken and egg prices.

Simply quarantine the henhouse for 10 days and move along like normal...If some birds die, then incinerate them and feed the rest of the flock until the quarantine passes.
