56. Antidepressants affect different people in different ways
Sat Dec 15, 2012, 12:08 PM
Dec 2012

I didn't say prozac is for everyone. There are many different options out there, ranging from medication to therapy to a mix of both. And any medication should be under the strict supervision of a medical professional.

That said, I was a bit hesitant about prozac at first, as I had heard horror stories. But it has been fixed over the years to avoid the nasty side effects. Again, it should be under supervision. My first dose was for two weeks.

All I can say is that I personally have benefitted from it, but everybody's different. And I can guarantee I won't go off on a violent rampage.

SUn shines on a dogs butt from time to time. Hopefully, this was the final straw. morningfog Dec 2012 #1

Not to split hairs, but Valium is an anti anxiety drug, not an anti-depressant Siwsan Dec 2012 #53
At that time, Valium was given for depression, at least in the case I am familiar with. JDPriestly Dec 2012 #57
