Gosh!
No capable general would consider what happens after a battle.

Things may become unstable, and if that is a worry, may I suggest:

Stocking up on non perishable foods and household items - canned foods, toilet paper, sugar, coffee, tea, alcohol (if you are inclined that way), etc.
Don't forget a decently long supply of pet food.
Consider buying stuff you rarely buy, like flour.
Who knows, prices may go up, supply lines may be disrupted.

Stocking up on perishable foods that can be frozen - meat, milk, bread, juice, if you have freezer space.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
