6. Autumn in the High Desert (reminiscent of Maynard Dixon)

I always appreciate the people who submit their work in these monthly contests. This submission reminds me of a favorite artist. The foreground yellow and orange pairs beautifully with the purple and blue in the background. Spot on with the theme, too. I also like the 3 horizontal bands (sky, mountains, foreground).
