21. A non-endorsement endorsement. He still has fantasies about "actual conservatism"...

...completely ignoring that for his entire pundit career, Republicans have depended on what these days gets called "Trumpism": the cloud of grievance and bigotry and hypocrisy that has been the Republican margin of victory since at least Reagan, if not Nixon. Kudos for acknowledging the obvious: that the only way to save the Republican party is to torpedo it and re-float it later, but it won't be "reinvigorated", because it was never "vigorous" to begin with, at least not after you and your beloved Conservative Movement drove actual moderates (the Rockefeller Republicans) to political extinction. It was just rich people who... how did Mitt put it? Oh yeah... who "just want stuff", and the stuff they wanted would never fly with enough voters to win anything, so they went to the same rancid swamps Trump did. Without bigots and imbeciles to lead by the nose, you have nothing.

Sorry George, what's best for the nation is finally ending the Reagan Revolution, the very thing that gave you a chubby and meaning to your life. Your viewpoint was NEVER the majority.
