(1,213 posts)You know what corrupt judges actually do? Sentence people who commit low-grade felonies like petty theft or TSF's crime the way that they do kidnapping. All other judges understand that the punishment must fit the level of crime committed.
You seem to think the felonies are just short of those for murder or armed robbery. Instead, they're more like the felonies just above misdemeanors like shoplifting and disturbing the peace. And do you really think a rich white guy with 34 counts of disturbing the peace winds up in the slammer? Please.
The most likely sentence he'll get is probation and fines, because that's how most judges rule with a first-time conviction for that kind of felony. The only way the number of times will matter is in deciding how long the probation will be, and how big the fines.
