If they run him off the ticket, he will become a lame duck president and nothing else will happen.
I also have zero doubts they will try to make him resign the presidency and remembering all of the death threats Obama received, no doubt Kamala will receive more and some nut might even try to make Mike Johnson president.
This path leads nowhere good.
