10. Correlation does not prove causation. But it's strong evidence.

And saying it's not an automatic causation, doesn't imply that it's not a causation.

Assuming it's not a coincidence, and a large sample makes that unlikely, what explains the correlation? Well there could be other things, but if they don't correlate, that kind of rules them out.

In this case one should not overlook the possibility of multiple causalities.
