(38,702 posts)35. One reason is that while he may be a Democrat, his buddy from Chicago, Republican Pete Ricketts, is in the Senate, his
state of Nebraska's governors have all been Republican, his brother was a four term Republican congress person.
He may be registered as a Democrat, but he lives, invests, and fails to support the Democratic Party in any substantial way in his state. I'm sure he's got a guilty conscience, but he worships mammon and Republican values more than he loves the freedom of women.
Top Warren Buffett Stocks By Size
At the end of March, these were the top stocks in Berkshire's portfolio by number of shares:
Bank of America (BAC), 1.03 billion
Apple (AAPL), 789.4 million
Coca-Cola (KO), 400 million
Kraft Heinz (KHC), 325.6 million
Occidental Petroleum (OXY), 248 million
American Express (AXP), 151.6 million
Chevron (CVX), 122.9 million
Nu Holdings (NU), Liberty Media (LSXMA) and Citigroup (C) help to round out the top holdings.

Health insurance giant Caremark -- Birmingham, AL and Northbrook, IL -- donated $1,500 to McCutcheon.
