In reply to the discussion: Who won tonight's debate? [View all]LeftInTX
(28,852 posts)29. I don't know who's on his debate team, but he needs some people who understand:
His stuttering, older voices and low voices.
Also Biden said too much when he responded.
Both Biden and Trump don't seem to have alot of flexibility in their speech. (It's an older age thing)
Trump used it to his advantage, by repeating garbage.
Biden stalled because he was thinking or forming the correct words. This gave time for Trump to come up with garbage retorts.
Joe was discussing his accomplishments and got taken off guard.
I think Joe's one-liners were really good. However, they weren't loud enough.
Joe needs to deliver more one-liners and less policy. He needs to KISS. He's not really "debating", when he's "debating" Trump.
Maybe Obama can help him out.

That was no debate. That was a dog and pony show. No one paid attention To Joe: he just didn't "look right"...

What matters is how this debate is perceived outside, how it is reported, and are any aspects going to run and run.

Your mother wasn't a committed voter and soft-D voters will vote for Biden.

There are a lot of Democratic base voters I know who disagree with you about what the Soft-D voters will do.
