what a public servant woud ever make honestly. And he wasn't out and about anywhere else to make the money honestly.

His fortune when from $3.1 million to $27.2 million in 6 years in Congress. No doubt from bribes by lobbyists and insider trading of a sort.As posted upthread, we have Eric Cantorto thank for this state of affairs.

If anyone wonders why I pick on the GOP so much, it's becasuse it really is their philosophy. Democrats believe in good governance. Republicans believe in what's good for them and want the government to go away so fhey can be richer, which is the Libertarian philosophy, too.

They whine that if they just didn't have to pay taxes and follow regulations, they'd all be rich. It's the 'parasites' and 'moochers' like the 47% who are keeping from becoming billionaires. Sick, but that's them.
