What is wrong with these people????

What happened to them that they would support this dictator-wannabe? Is the whole family like this, or are parents or children embarrassed and mourning their parents and children? How broken do you have to be to still be supporting this clown? Never mind, I know the ones still supporting him are lost, beyond saving, living in their own bizarre reality far from sense and sensibility. It's just so baffling to me.
