Yes, much of the feedback I've gotten was predictable, but a predictable misunderstanding. I could have thrown in a couple of paragraphs of caveats and disclaimers attempting to avoid that misunderstanding (I did make some effort, which can be seen by doing more than merely skimming my first post), but when people are emotionally charged enough that stuff gets ignored anyway, so why waste the words?
If you can't even be bothered to look at other replies I've posted in this thread, I'll waste no more words making a longer custom reply for you, as you are obviously way too content feeling holier-than-thou to be bothered with further reading.
