13. loved the movie, and the book

loosely based on doris kearns goodwin's 'team of rivals'. (which also had it's slow moments)
day-lewis is good, but i loved, loved sally field as mary todd lincoln. i have always been very sympathetic to her, and really glad they portrayed here in as a multi-dimensional character.
