I know what you're talking about, this last month, my lady and I cut the cable. A one-time expense for a really good antenna, on a really good sale, and I get free TV, in hi-def, no less (won the TV at my union dinner). But others who wish to spend on cable, including premium channels, can do whatever they want with what money they earn.

Hey, right now, I'm drinking some damned good beer that is way better than Bud-Miller-Coors. Even though I got it on sale, with a special shipping promotion, and a ten dollar off coupon to boot, it still costs way more than mass produced swill. I'm happy, some Oregon brewer is happy, and the driver who brought it to my door is happy. What's not to like about people spending their money in ways that bring some relief to the dreariness of life?
