And I dont know where you get "smart cookie" from. Maybe compated to the fungus-level IQs of most members of the Right Wing punditry, but...

And if her performance on Bill Maher is any indication, she's a big phony anyway, right own to her obviously fake glasses. She supports marriage equalty? Doesnt she realize that the GOP base wants all teh gay put in prison right next to women who use birth control?

I suspect she's playing a part for $$$$, which I guess is a bit crafty, although disingenuous.
