Then they stood up to the GOP and said they were going to call witnesses.
But in 45 minutes they backed right the fuck down.
This morning when they said they would call witnesses and the other side were freaking out I told my husband, "The GOP is just not used to being in the minority." But that isn't true. The Democrats are not used to being in the majority.
They held all the cards and they folded anyway.
So don't go on a tear and get mad at me for thinking it was weak.
I don't need your bullshit on top of already feeling really low about this.

I admit, I was disappointed in the outcome even though I knew that they wouldn't convict.
