Okay, OWS kinda lost its way, as time went on and some strange people got involved. Still, it has been a remarkable movement that galvanized many liberals into "right" thinking and action.

It is because of the 99% OWS movement that "1%" and "99%" is now part of American jargon. When you say "the 1%," everyone knows what you mean.

The strength and the hudspa and the resolve of the ordinary person. We are NOT nothing because we're not part of the 1%. We get a vote, we get a say, we deserve a fair shot at the American dream, we are not deadbeats and scumbags and maggots and whores and pimps. We are the engine of the country and worthwhile listening to.

So a big thank you to OWS. You made a difference. And that's not an easy thing to do.

(Update: It has been pointed out to me that OWS CONTINUES to make a difference. My "was" has been changed to "has".)
