The political artwork company that makes these "puppets" is "Spiral Q" - https://www.spiralq.org/

They experienced a terrible disaster when the remnants of Hurricane Ida came through here in 2021 and flooded out their storage warehouse, destroying most of their items. They had gotten a request from the Smithsonian for a donation of one of the mailboxes before the floods, so they did wrap one up and sent it to D.C.
