(403 posts)I may get blasted for this, but it seems to me that employers all over the country have worked within one system where they ignore their employees' lack of healthcare. Now that system will be changing and to deny this change or pretend that nothing will change for employers is to ignore reality.
Employers will do what they can do to lower costs. That's not just Papa John; That's all employers. We should be thanking Papa John because he openly stated what thousands of other employers are probably planning behind closed doors. Obamacare is the "law of the land" now. Papa John isn't campaigning against it, and if he is then he's too damn late.
Obamacare will be a massive change for this country. We can't just go off all unhinged every time someone suggest it may not be the perfect system. That would make us republicans... ewww. We are Democrats. We are pragmatic. We can honestly evaluate problems with the system and change it for the better.
Remember everyone: this is essentially a republican health plan. And republicans are horrible at these things. Obamacare is our foot in the door, but it's up to us to make it better, something worthy of being called a democratic party plan.
