Like figuring out any real points of discussion was beneath them.
It's the attitude of the boss daring you to insult his hideous tie.
So what they're mad about, we can only surmise, is not that their ideas lost, but that their ideas that ideas *don't matter* lost.
"Okay, you guys got one by us. Big mistake, as you can tell by all our screaming about birth certificates. So here's the deal: We'll going to put up a rich, secretive plutocrat who himself refuses to articulate any consistent or detailed point of view from our camp. The right camp.
On top of that, we're going to introduce some really hideous mistaken ideas from the past. On labor, women's rights, the social safety net. Just totally nutso, cruel stuff we used to get away with all the time. We're not going to explain any of it, but you know, it's US. The bossmen. Shut up and take it, and we'll try to forget that whole thing happened before. You're welcome."
They didn't want to give up the idea that the Tribe conquers all. Now they know their tribe isn't in control, doesn't hold the big club.
Thus, panic. Tears. Prayer to a universe they believe has abandoned them.

Ms Jackson is a very strange person. She comes from the planet Kolab. Not a nice person.

Well I have to say I don't watch SNL much and I don't remember her. She really is a wacko

Have you ever noticed how comedians on the right aren't as funny as the ones on the left.

I still like Foxworthy. He isn't mean spirited so I will watch him. But I never like Miller even
