Thanks to the GOP's policies on education, American children are being groomed to become poorly-educated adults doomed to low-paying jobs because they lack the basic skills to compete for higher-wage occupations. They will enter adulthood bereft of critical thinking skills, because books that help develop those skills are being banned.

Thanks to the GOP's views on immigration, American children are being groomed as future bigots and white supremacists who believe that anyone who doesn't look like them, speak like them, or practice the same religion they do is an enemy that must be destroyed. Immigrants have been the backbone of America's growth and prosperity - but children aren't being taught their own country's history now, so they have no way of knowing that.

Thanks to the GOP's stance on women's reproductive rights, male American children are being groomed to become misogynists who have authority over women, and female children are being groomed to become future Handmaids who will meekly accept their position as second-class citizens.

Thanks to the GOP's position on LGBTers, American children are being groomed to become ignorant adults who live in abject fear of anything that is 'different' or that they don't understand.

Thanks to the GOP's policies on gun control, American children are being groomed to accept that they are targets for school-shooters - and those who survive childhood are being groomed as potential mass-shooters themselves.

And thanks to the GOP's current blatherings about January 6th et al, American children are being groomed to become adults who have absolutely no faith in our elections, our government institutions, or the rule of law. They are being groomed to become deranged lunatics who will gladly destroy democracy itself - if and when their groomers tell them to do so.

So beware of the real groomers, my friends. They are NOT the drag queens who are reading to your children, or 'woke' toy manufacturers who sell different-coloured LEGO characters, or candy-makers who produce 'woke' M&Ms.

They are the Republicans who are grooming your children to become illiterate, unthinking, unfeeling, knuckle-dragging, assault-rifle-toting idiots who have no respect for their countrymen - and no self-respect at all.
