These assholes tried to destroy our republic. A slap on the wrist doesn't begin to make up for the damage they did. And I'm not talking about physical damage, I'm talking about the brutality to the nation they engaged in.
There needs to be serious consequences for what they did. He gets to spend a year at home with his beer, TV set and BBQ in the backyard.
Punishment? Where does that come in?
100 hours of community service, and $2,000. fine? You'd think he got drunk, broke a storefront window, and pissed in an alleyway.
