Great endorsement in principle, but not of much use to Obama considering the late hour and the fact that New York is already in Obama's column. I think what happened is that Bloomberg wanted to be personally convinced that Obama would be reelected before he made the endorsement, as Bloomberg wants to be on the winner's side.
