There may be trouble, depending on where you're at in the country, but leave your own weapon at home. We want a massive, overwhelming turnout, but I can see that if an incident occurs somewhere, they might shut the voting lines down.

Peaceful, mass protest via voting is the best response. Take snacks and water, wear a kevlar vest prn, and go for it. Plan to keep silent in line.
