I listened to Preet Bharara’s Cafe Podcast where he mentioned this.

Take Barrs testimony for instance. In his resignation letter, he encourages Trump needs to root out the fake and illegally cast votes. He’s also recently said that he’d vote for Trump again if he was the nominee. Both of those facts present problems for prosecutors with regards to his viability as a witness. Many of the witnesses we’ve seen have similar complications.

I want to see Trump put in jail as much as anyone, but we’re seeing lawmakers, not prosecutors, presenting only the best possible facts. They also have the goal to expose the conspiracy, not convict people of crimes.
