They think god is on their side.

They think god chose them for great power and wealth

They think if they can ban abortion they're saving millions of lives, so even killing a few pro-choicers who might stand in their way is justified.

They sleep very well, having designed for themselves an propaganda ecosystem that completely excludes any thought that what they're doing might be a bad thing.
