First, this notion of going into a rant on TV news shows is something that'll make liberal activists happy, but won't convince anyone else.

Second, the average voter isn't as fixated on Trump and the insurrectionists as people here are. (see: Virginia 2021). They care about economic policies, COVID/health care and education. And as far as COVID goes, they want vaccines and treatment but they're not willing to go through an economic and educational shutdown again.
