enough of the ones not brainwashed or in the cult could be reminded that true American patriots (and decent human beings) are anti-authoritarian.

Unfortunately, super-wealthy Dems aren't nearly as willing to fund a pro-democracy PR campaign as RW Richie Riches are to a fund pro-fascist one. Nor do Dems in general seem to see the need or be willing to do much more than post & tweet.
