Communication from GM to suppliers this week:

"-Although we previously announced that [plant] would remain on partial production through the week of Dec. 27, given improvements in semiconductor supply we will be able to resume two shifts of production at [plant] beginning the week of Nov. 29.
- With that, production of [Vehicles A B & C] will move to two shifts of production the week of Nov. 29, and supplier schedules are being updated accordingly."

I don't know the impact our President could have had on the semiconductor situation, but we all know if it were bad news he'd get the blame.
