You should get it ASAP. Just walk into any pharmacy where they're offering them. Don't leave yourself vulnerable any longer than necessary. They are not recommending that eligible people wait until 8 mos.
My 80ish mom didn't have much of a reaction. Just some brief tiredness. I had several hours of running a fever, but okay after that.
