Like, I invest no credulity in any of Scumdredger's other stuff, so why should I credit this story?

My take is that it's a setup. They're trolling for Dems, hoping to give the rumor some media attention before they blow it out of the water to the tune of even grater media attention, with the implication that the whole thing was some desperate Obama trick, an attempt to foist off a false story at the last minute, thereby garnering support for the Willardites.

But hey, that's just my paranoid mind tracking down the rutted trail of suspicion of Republican intentions.
