please make sure you get tested
you can buy those quickie tests at walgreens and there are places around where you live that have the regular tests.
as far as your boss--what a douche! i remember hearing about places that closed for a day or two when they thought there was covid afoot.
can you take a few days off? tell them it's a family emergency? and you'd rather not say exactly what is happening.
